My royalty check is late.  What do I do?

Regular postal delays may be the cause of your check arriving a few days late.  If more than two weeks have passed and you still have not received your check, contact the Revenue Accounting Department and we will investigate.

When are royalty checks mailed each month?

Checks to the majority of mineral owners are mailed by the 15th of the month. We also mail checks on the 30th of the month specifically to North Dakota oil mineral owners and to state land agencies. 

Can I get my royalty check deposited directly into my account?

This option is not currently available.

I have noticed the amount of my royalty payment changes each month.  Why is that?

Since your payment is based on production volumes paid at the current price, payment amounts will vary.  If you have questions about your payment, please contact the Revenue Accounting Department.
